Darren Alkire
Head Pastor
Pastor Darren Alkire was born and raised in Parkersburg, West Virginia, where he resides today. He has been involved in various aspects of ministry since 1989 - he has been a youth pastor, an evangelist, and a senior pastor in that time. If you listen to any of his messages, you will notice that Darren is truly a teacher. He helps the congregation delve into The Word, explaining things in such a way that not only leads to greater understanding, but often a desire to go even deeper.
As a child, Darren often found himself watching and listening to preachers like Billy Graham. He could always imagine himself doing something similar. After accepting Christ in 1987, he knew that he was called into the ministry. He immediately jumped in to help with anything he could in the church.
Currently, Pastor Darren works full time outside of the church, as well as devoting himself to ministry. His wife often helps with things that come up throughout the week while he is working.
