< Glory

This will be the first message of a series on the glory of God.

The word glory is one of those words that seems to get thrown around a lot among the believers of Jesus. We need to remind ourselves that the scriptures are a combination of languages that have been translated into English. The Old Testament was originally both Hebrew and some Aramaic. The New Testament is mostly from the Greek language with a little Hebrew and Aramaic found in the four gospels.

As the old saying goes, “The Old Testament is Jesus CONCEALED and the New is Jesus REVEALED.” The same goes for the word glory. The New Covenant shows us something about glory that was there all along but is brought forth through Paul’s inspired teachings.

In this first session, I wish to display how amazing it must have been to witness the glorious displays of God's presence in the OT times. We should be inspired if we keep in mind that the Lord has saved the best for last, and the Bible says that the latter rain of glory will be greater than the former.
