When the Holy Spirit says: "SURPRISE!!"

In last week's service, we welcomed and thoroughly enjoyed the ministry of Apostles Michael and Michelle Leavell. At the end of the service both Michael and Michelle gave a wonderful demonstration of what I call “the surprises of the Spirit.”
I am referring to the type of Holy Spirit giftings that are listed in 1 Corinthians 12:8-10. These gifts are unique because they are “as the Spirit wills.” Our only part is to recognize His desire to use us in this way and allow Him to do it through us.
One thing that makes these gifts unique is that they are not in the possession of the believer. Again, they are deployed “as the Spirit wills.” These are not merely gifted people, but the emphasis should always be on the display of love through these gifts from the Lord to His church.
Sad to say, there is a lot of misinformation and controversy about Spiritual gifts. But if we are to be the church of Jesus Christ, then we must do things His way. Let’s learn together and allow Him to show us how this works!
