2022: The Year of Wisdom and Justice

Thomas Paine wrote, “These are the times that try men’s souls.” Boy Howdy, does that sound like our current situation. But I believe that we are being prepared to carry the weight of the coming glory of God. It is now the time to decide who we are and also who we intend to be in the future. In Isaiah 26, it says that “He will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed upon thee.” What a promise and encouragement to us who require His perfect peace.
On this first Sunday of 2022, I want to fulfill my role as Pastor, and lead the church in a corporate observance of the Lords Supper. Not in a ritualistic way, but keeping in mind that our words are like a rudder on a ship. I am going to give some practical instruction on how to navigate the calm AND tumultuous waters ahead. The best is yet to come.
