The Destruction of Wisdom

Take 2!
One of the challenges of having a New Testament, Holy Spirit led Sunday service is that sometimes the service that WE plan for is altered or changed completely. As was the case last week.
My wife Joy and I have ministered together for many years and we have developed a trust with each other to give each other the liberty to “change the script” if we feel led to by Holy Spirit. This happened last week and since I know of the importance of this message, I didn’t want to diminish it in any way. So here goes.... hopefully!

In 1 Corinthians 1:19 (NKJV), it says:
For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise,
And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.”

WHAT!! Destroy wisdom?? What can that possibly mean?

In this message I will submit to you what I believe this means. I believe that the Lord also gives us the answer to “When will this destruction begin?” and “What will be the result of this destruction of wisdom?”
