The Stronghold of David

For the last 20 to 30 years the subject of spiritual warfare has become more widely known and accepted within the body of Christ. The book of Ephesians explains that flesh and blood (people) aren’t our real enemy. Instead, it’s principalities, powers, and spiritual wickedness that try to form strongholds in our minds to pervert the way God sees us and thereby pervert the way that we see ourselves and each other.

In this lesson I will identify a stronghold that affected King David for most of his life that began when he was a child. Even King David, the highly revered, anointed, and honored Prophet King had a very substantial chink in his armor: REJECTION and the FEAR OF REJECTION. Thankfully David eventually addressed his stronghold and determined to address it and make some changes. 

As we prepare to take part in the greatest move of God that the world has EVER seen, we MUST address OUR OWN strongholds. Unless we identify and correct our stinkin thinkin, we will limit the ability (grace) of God in our lives. It is time to remove the leaven from our house.
