The Trap @ Baal-Zephon

I have recently been fixated (divinely so I think 😜) on the mountains or high places of Israel. These elevated regions were places of worship for the occult as well as the Lord Yahweh.

Last week we looked at a parallel time in history that occurred at Mt. Carmel along the Mediterranean coast. The prophet Elijah was sent to confront the King and the nation of Israel for their worship of both Baal and Yahweh. It was time to decide which one was God and worship him alone. It was a time of a divine contest, as well as a trap that the enemy never saw coming.

In this message we will see another preceding parallel time of contest and entrapment which occurred in Egypt under the God-inspired prophet Moses. The Lord (just like now) was intending to not only take them out of Egypt, but also take Egypt out of them. All of the plagues of Egypt were designed to confront the multidimensional aspects of Baal worship. Each one revealed that Yahweh was/is superior in every way. But just as He always does, He saved the best one for last. May I submit to you: The Trap @ Baal-Zephon.
