As it was in the beginning...

In this message I believe the Lord is revealing to us some parallels between three periods of time. History is again repeating. In Matthew chapter 2 the scripture points forward from Jesus’ time but also backward to the time of Daniel and the Babylonian captivity.

The main point of this comparing of the three time periods is, “Don’t worry, I’ve got this!!

The most prevalent common ingredient in all three is the devastating fear that must have permeated the minds of the people.

In scriptural hindsight we can see that the Lord had a plan all along. In spite of His people’s lack of trust and understanding, He made sure to preserve and protect them. And He’s doing it again.
