The Mission
The mission of The Refuge Church is to be exactly what our name suggests - a place of Refuge and grace. Like the Old Testament cities of refuge, a place of grace is where a person is no longer defined by their past, but by the unsurpassable worth that God has given to them. People are characterized by a righteousness – consciousness; an overwhelming sense of the unconditional love and forgiveness of God.
The Vision
We envision a place where there is room for failure; a place where the only thing that counts is faith working by love; a place where people hear how good God is, not how bad they are. We want to be a place where we are willing to go out on a limb and lose our reputation over the all-inclusiveness of those we welcome.
